What we support

We are proud to support a variety of local initiatives, activities, and organizations that make a positive impact on our community. By providing financial assistance, we aim to contribute to the growth, well-being, and vibrancy of our neighborhood and our city. Below are some of the initiatives and causes we are honored to be a part of.

The Prostitutie Informatie Centrum, or PIC, provides information about sex work from the perspective of sex workers to anyone interested. We welcome sex workers, their clients, individual students and student groups, journalists, and tourists from all over the world. The PIC is a unique and welcoming place where anyone can walk in to ask questions, look around, read books, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee.

The PIC has been around for 30 years, and to ensure its future, a crowdfunding campaign has been launched. We are proud to have contributed to this and encourage everyone to do the same!

Each year, the Stichting Senior Pride organizes an intimate and colorful concert at the Nieuwmarkt to thank and honor our LGBTQ+ pioneers for their contributions to the community. It is also a warm gathering for the neighborhood. We are proud to contribute to this event!

 

 

De Regenboog Groep provides support to people from the LGBTIQ+ community, among others. The LGBTIQ+ buddy program is there for LGBTIQ+ individuals who are facing challenges in life and for LGBTIQ+ newcomers looking to integrate. Every month, De Regenboog Groep organizes a dinner in Amsterdam for and by LGBTIQ+ refugees. This way, approximately 60 LGBTIQ+ refugees have an enjoyable, relaxed, and safe evening each month. We are proud to contribute to this initiative.
